

Library Consulting
I am a freelance professional librarian with over 20 years’ experience specialising in Cataloguing, Metadata Creation, Special Collections, Collection Development and Relocation, Library Project Management and User Experience.
My current and recent projects include the provision of professional library services for the School of Celtic Studies – DIAS and the Turning Point Institute, cataloguing and metadata services for the the RDS, Houses of the Oireachtas and the World Health Organization, providing consultancy services for the Crawford Art Gallery Library, Cork, cataloguing PDF research reports and supervising a library project for the Educational Research Centre, developing and expanding Manor House School Library, setting up several special collections libraries for the Redemptorists, collation and analysis of public library data for the LGMA and developing a languages toolkit for librarians of Dublin City Libraries.
I have an MSc in Information and Library Management from Northumbria University and have completed CPD courses on Digital Information, Fundamentals of Digital Curation, Metadata Design and Implementation, RDA, OpenRefine, Introduction to Museums and Archives.
I am a member of CILIP, IFLA and an associate member of the Library Association of Ireland.
